Port Loop, Birmingham, is an ambitious redevelopment project undertaken by ECE Architecture for Places For People Developments Ltd.
Formerly an arts and leisure centre, this brownfield site is located in an urban area and will deliver 166 residential properties as part of the overall Port Loop masterplan, offering a range of apartments, terraced homes, and semi-detached houses, all designed with a focus on quality.
The project will blend modern living with public spaces while preserving the site’s natural character. It includes a multi-use games area and landscaped green spaces, fostering community interaction.
The architectural proposal aims to enhance the neighbourhood by constructing new buildings and creating a distinctive frontage along Ladywood Middleway.
With a mix of housing typologies, including affordable units, the Port Loop development ensures accessibility and inclusivity for a broad spectrum of the community by delivering high-quality housing and public amenity spaces.
