ECE win 9 at the Worthing 2016 Distinction in Building Awards

ECE Directors Paul Fender and Adam King were delighted to attend the Worthing Distinction in Building Awards presentation on Tuesday 20th December, where ECE received awards for the following projects:

The awards have been running since 1992 and this is the first ceremony since 2012, when ECE also won an award for Northbrook College, Broadwater road.

This year there was some great feedback from the judging panel on Bohunt School:

“The Panel was particularly impressed with the internal layout of the main school building which, given the budget available, provides a high quality environment to provide a first class education for Worthing children.”

And Vista Mare:

“The strong and complementary frontage at Vista Mare complements the architecture of the town.”

Following ECE’s success at the awards Adam King (Director) says:

“We are delighted to have achieved awards for 9 of our projects and are particularly pleased with Vista Mare and the approval of the Worthing Society and Councillors. We hope that this highlights how our developments aim to, and succeed in, improving the existing brownfield situation. “
