Crosby Farm

Situated in the historical and picturesque village of Slinfold, this sensitively designed residential development features 24 dwellings of 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedrooms, including eight affordable homes. The development is complemented by a 1½ storey cricket pavilion.

The site, previously comprising a field and two substantial barns, has been transformed while retaining long-distance visual connections through strategic naturalised landscaping.

In harmony with the Slinfold Conservation Area, the development carefully positions the dwellings to overlook new public spaces, with a farm courtyard aesthetic to the site’s rural edge blending the low-density countryside with the village centre’s higher density.

Each dwelling is unique, with materials and designs reflecting the Parish Design Statement through features like decorative tile hanging, exposed rafter feet, voussoir brick heads, and timber weatherboarding.

This development not only provides a range of housing options but also enhances local facilities with the new cricket pavilion. It fosters a strong sense of community, with its layout emphasising public open spaces and connectivity to the village centre and surrounding countryside through a network of footpaths.
